Fencing & gates

Fencing is the job most of our customers first called us for, and the one their reviews talk about: old fence out, new one straight and solid, rubbish gone.

New arched trellis-top fence and a timber pergola over a sandstone side path, swept down after laying

Concrete posts with gravel boards last longest: the timber never touches the soil. If you prefer the look of timber all the way, we use pressure-treated posts set in concrete.

Where a boundary fence is shared, it helps to agree the work with your neighbour before we start. We can talk it through with both of you on site.

Questions about fencing & gates

Can you remove an old fence or wall first?

Yes. Taking out the old fence, posts or a low wall, and taking the waste away, is part of the job.

Who owns the fence?

The title plan of your property usually shows which boundary is yours. If it is shared, agree the work with your neighbour first.

How quickly can you fix a broken fence?

Send photos on WhatsApp and we give you a day for the repair.
